What’s new in Slate

Last updated 2025-05-15

Prime Video Slate is a centralized account management application for both managed contract and self-service publishing partners. Slate gives you a single content-partner portal that you and your vendors can use to manage your deliveries and all other aspects of your publishing lifecycle on Prime Video.

As you explore Slate, we’re excited to highlight the following enhancements designed to improve your productivity and make it easier to manage your Prime Video catalog.

  • One platform: Slate combines the functionality of our previous tools, Video Central and Prime Video Direct. Users who once worked in both systems can now monitor and manage their account activities from one application.
  • Unified user support guide: We’ve consolidated both our account management systems and our Slate support guide, to answer all your questions about delivery and publishing. The support guide is available on the web, easily searchable, and localized into 6 additional languages besides English.
  • Title management tools: These include:

    • Catalog Manager: A one-stop shop where you can view real-time publishing status data, including rights, avails, SKUs, delivery assets, and live offers.
    • Title Hub: A form-based title management application that allows users to create new or edit existing titles on our storefront, without the need for full packaging, using our bulk-delivery Movie Labs specs.
  • Enhanced Delivery Manager UI: This tool—familiar to managed contract partners—extends bulk-delivery functionality to self-service publishing partners, so they can deliver high-volume content via browser-based uploads compliant with MovieLabs specs.
  • Account settings: We revamped our legacy UX and streamlined account management information. This enables faster payments, ensures users have the correct access permissions, and expands self-service account tools.

If you’re new to Prime Video, see our Get started section for more information about onboarding.

Finally, if you’ve received the monthly Supply Chain Newsletter emails in the past (or even if you haven’t!), you can now find that content in this this support guide instead. We’ll use this section to announce new features and changes applicable to the Prime Video delivery tech. We’ll also tease innovations that are coming soon. Bookmark this section and check back periodically for updates to ensure you have the latest information for our media supply chain enhancements.
