Supply Chain Updates, April 2025

Worldwide carousel availability, a delivery SLAs reminder, and a new era for Supply Chain updates Last updated 2025-04-17

Hello, valued partners! This page serves as a notification to inform you of recent updates.

Featured Originals and Exclusives carousel is now available worldwide

The Featured Originals and Exclusives carousel on Prime Video is a prominent carousel that lives at the top of the Prime Video home page. Prime Video Channels partners can use this carousel as an opportunity to showcase titles to subscription customers in a highly visible location on the Prime Video home page. This carousel lets partners highlight their best, highest-profile titles, and helps customers find something to watch more easily, across all of their subscriptions.

The Featured Originals and Exclusives carousel is now available for all worldwide territories as of March of 2025. For complete instructions, see Content rights and Artwork specifications in the Slate documentation.

Remember to check your delivery SLAs

As a reminder, Prime Video’s Delivery Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are available on Slate and outline key deadlines for timely delivery of Avails and Asset Packages. Adhering to our SLAs is a contractual obligation and is critical to ensuring Prime Video has sufficient time to ingest and publish content across the applicable services. Required delivery times vary by content type, and partners should regularly reference the SLA documentation to determine the appropriate submission windows relative to a title’s start date.

Tip: Try Slate’s Assets tab to auto-calculate Asset Package due dates based on Content Type entries in Avails!

Personalize the customer experience with artwork variants

Prime Video now allows content suppliers to send artwork variations for cover, poster, and hero artwork in addition to your main marketing asset. This allows us to show personalized artwork variants to browsing customers, highlighting images that are most relevant to each customer’s content preferences. For example, you can showcase images that represent a title’s action theme, its strong female lead, or a favorite cast member. Personalized artwork can help each unique customer find and select exactly the content they want to see. For complete details, see Personalized artwork delivery (variants).

Reminder: Get monthly updates in the Slate support guide

We’re transitioning these monthly Supply Chain updates from an email newsletter to a page that lives directly in the online support documentation. Driving our communications through Slate itself lets us reach every partner and internal stakeholder of the portal, in the language that they prefer, and helps us to build a consistent archive of these updates in one place.

This April 2025 update contains the same information as the usual newsletter email. While enrolled partners will receive an email update this month, it won’t contain all of the sections above. Instead, it will direct them to the page you’re reading now. The email version of the newsletter is officially deprecated with this April post. But the updates will still continue on a monthly cadence, and will appear as links on the What’s New page in Slate each month. Updates are published in English on the third Friday of each month, and localized versions will appear approximately 2 weeks later.

Thanks to all our partners for bearing with this transition. We’re now tracking visits to the Slate support guide overall, including each of the monthly update pages, and we look forward to seeing traffic and engagement climb with this new format.
