Supply Chain Updates, March 2026

Updates to proxy links, Contact Us, new language support, and announcements for upcoming features and events Last updated 2026-03-26

Hello, valued partners! This page provides an overview of recent updates Prime Video has made to the Slate Tool and Support Guide.

Proxy Link Functionality on All Ingested Playable Assets

Prime Video Slate is expanding proxy link generation and download to all ingested playable assets, including video, audio, and timed text files. As such, proxy link generation requests will no longer be fulfilled via Contact Us effective immediately.

Slate users can now generate proxy links on any asset they’ve delivered or owned directly from the Assets Tab via Asset Quick View, enabling quick preview, download and validation of their content. Dubcard-free proxies are only available for SD-SDR assets, all other quality will have dubcards included. For security, all proxy links automatically expire after 7 days of generation, ensuring your assets remain protected while providing the flexibility you need for efficient catalog management.

Update to Contact Us

Added Country Expansion and Contract Questions subtopics for Managed accounts with TVOD questions to Contact US to the get-help-with-contact-us Support Guide.

New Language Support

Prime Video has added over 300 new language-locales for video and audio, with metadata and timed text support coming later this year. Review the Languages page on Slate for more details.

Coming Soon: Enhanced Auto-Detection for Improved Catalog Quality

Prime Video is enhancing our automated quality detection capabilities to provide greater visibility into catalog health. Starting in March, select partners will begin seeing more errors surfaced as we dial up auto-detectors for certain defect types. This enhancement will gradually expand to additional partners throughout the month, increasing coverage across your assets and ensuring defects are identified earlier in the workflow. By catching quality issues sooner and providing more comprehensive insights into your catalog, we’re helping you maintain the high standards Prime Video customers expect while delivering a better viewing experience.

To view automatically detected defects in Slate, navigate to the Assets Tab and apply the filter Rule Source = Quality (Auto) to see all quality issues identified by our automated detection system.

New: Catalog Manager Mini Dashboard Now Available in Slate

Prime Video is excited to announce the launch of Catalog Manager: Mini Dashboard, now available in Slate to help you quickly assess your catalog health at a glance. These lightweight, interactive dashboard cards display key metrics directly within your catalog view, and with one-click filtering, you can instantly drill down into specific assets or avails that need attention—streamlining your workflow and helping you prioritize catalog issues faster than ever before. We’re adding more enhancements throughout 2026, with the next update including simple offer classification—check monthly Slate updates to stay informed.

New: Updated Ratings Workbook Now Available for Download in Slate

Prime Video has revised and published the Q1 2026 Ratings Workbook, now available for download directly in Slate. This updated workbook includes comprehensive guidance on content descriptors, local ratings requirements across all territories, and Amazon Maturity Ratings—providing partners with a single, consolidated resource to ensure accurate ratings submissions and maintain compliance with regional classification standards.

Update on Content Issues Report Email Transition

We’re extending the timeline for deprecating the Content Issues Report (Redelivery) emails from March 31st to end of Q2 2026. This shift allows us to deliver a more robust suite of features that will make your migration to Asset Quick View seamless and efficient. Throughout Q2 2026, we’re launching enhanced capabilities including live metadata and artwork visibility, followed by post-publish defects, metadata and artwork defect detection, associate commentary, bulk proxy generation, and self-service redelivery report generation by early Q3. These improvements will provide you with comprehensive catalog management tools and real-time defect visibility directly in Slate, ensuring you have everything you need before we complete the transition away from email-based reporting.

APIs

We’re excited to announce the Notifications API, now available as part of the Content API Suite. This new capability delivers real-time notifications for content events—including asset delivery updates and offer status changes—directly to your systems, eliminating the need for continuous API polling and enabling automated workflow responses.

The Notifications API lets you receive instant alerts when asset deliveries fail or offer statuses change, reducing infrastructure costs while maintaining up-to-date information. Connect notifications directly to your existing systems through AWS services (SQS, SNS, EventBridge) or HTTPS webhooks to trigger automated responses, ticket creation, or alerting workflows without manual intervention.

Getting started requires three simple steps: register a target destination, create subscriptions mapping events to your targets, and receive real-time notifications as events occur. Each notification includes the title identifier, territory, marketplace, event type, callback URL, and timestamp.

The Notifications API is included when you onboard to the Content API Suite. For detailed onboarding instructions and complete API documentation, visit the API Onboarding page.

PV Events

PV Events is hosting Prime Video Roadshow: Las Vegas on April 20, 2026, during NAB Show. This event offers 3 distinct experiences to help content providers stay up to date with Prime Video’s specs and business roadmap: Sessions, Voice of Partner Focus Groups, and a Social Hour. We have recommended tracks for attendees with a Business/Marketing focus and for those with an Ops/Tech/Vendor focus. Topics include content performance tools for business growth, mRSS feeds, a new upload UI, sign language, new bundle types, Aspera cloud migration, and more. Please RSVP by March 30, 2026 to view events and register.

Slate Updates

We are moving towards a model where Slate becomes self-service for partners and vendors for core information they require. To do this, we are making Slate clearer, easier to navigate, and more actionable — updates are being made in line with spec development and feedback from partners and internal teams.

The guiding strategy is A+ Content First: highlighting features that maximize the customer experience and explaining to partners why they should go beyond minimum spec requirements — and where those fields surface in the storefront. More updates will be added in the upcoming months, but to kick-off we have updated a VOD Onboarding hub and added a central repository for Developer APIs.
