What’s new in Slate

Last updated 2025-09-19

Prime Video Slate offers centralized account management application for all content partners throughout the content delivery and publishing lifecycle on Prime Video.

As you explore Slate, we’re excited to highlight the following enhancements designed to improve your productivity and make it easier to manage your Prime Video catalog:

  • One content delivery service. Slate combines the functionality of the legacy Video Central (VC) and Prime Video Direct (PVD) delivery services. We’ve consolidated both our account management systems and our Slate support guide, to answer all your questions about delivery and publishing. This support guide is available on the web, easily searchable, and localized into 6 languages in addition to English.
  • Enhanced delivery manager UI. Slate, familiar to content providers who have used VC, extends bulk-delivery functionality to PVD content providers. They can now deliver high-volume content via browser-based uploads that are compliant with the applicable specifications.
  • Title management tools. These include:
    • Catalog Manager: A one-stop shop where you can view real-time publishing status data, including rights, avails, SKUs, delivery assets, and live offers.
    • Title Hub: A form-based title management application that allows users to create new or edit existing titles on our storefront, without the need for full packaging, using our bulk-delivery Movie Labs specs.
  • Account settings: We’ve streamlined our account management information. This enables faster payments, ensures users have the correct access permissions, and expands self-service account tools.

If you’re new to Prime Video, see our Get started section for more information about onboarding.

Finally, if you’ve received the monthly Supply Chain Newsletter emails in the past (or even if you haven’t!), you can now find that content in this this support guide instead. We’ll use this section to announce new features and changes to the Prime Video delivery tech. We’ll also preview innovations that are coming soon. Bookmark this section and check back periodically for updates to ensure you have the latest information for our media supply chain enhancements.
