Delivery impact


Direct Delivery

Depending on which marketplaces you have been delivering for, the impact to your required deliveries varies. The following is a brief overview of the expected changes:

  • If you've been delivering for Classic Marketplaces (US, UK, DE, and JP) only, you must be onboarded to the Global Spec.
  • If you deliver to Global and Classic Marketplaces, you must transition to Global Spec-only deliveries for all territories.
  • If you're already delivering to Global Marketplaces only, this change has no impact to your delivery process as you will continue delivering in the Global Spec. Please continue using Global Specs when making deliveries for all territories including Classic Marketplaces (US, UK, DE, and JP).
If you use a fulfillment vendor

For deliveries through a fulfillment vendor (post house), no technical onboarding is required. All current fulfillment vendors delivering to Prime Video will be fully prepared to deliver Global Specs by July 1, 2022.

Although technical onboarding isn't required, you must have a scheduled date for migration. If you haven't been contacted concerning your migration date, please open a ticket.

Technical onboarding process

If you deliver directly and require onboarding to the Global Spec, identify and lock the timeline for your migration by opening a ticket to our onboarding team.

We strongly encourage you to review the support pages outlining the above specifications and provided samples ahead of starting the process to ensure timely onboarding completion.

Timelines

Some content partners have migrated to One Catalog. We plan to migrate remaining content partners by the end of 2023 and deprecate classic packaging. Migration is in phases and content partners will be notified of migration scheduling directly by Prime Video or by the fulfillment vendor making deliveries on their behalf.
