Prime Video Subscription

Prime Video offers access to digital movies and TV shows with a Prime membership. It's available in more than 200 countries and territories—all that’s needed is an Amazon account, an Amazon Prime Membership or Prime Video subscription, and a compatible connected device.

Prime Video is available in many languages, and for many Prime Video titles, customers can choose multi-language subtitles and audio dubbing. The Prime Video selection is always growing and includes popular movies and TV shows, Amazon Originals, live events, and more.

Prime Rent and Buy

Prime Video offers transactional video on-demand (TVOD) to customers. Customer can pre-order, rent, buy, download, and stream great content at great prices. This includes SD, HD, 4K UHD, and HDR content.

Prime Channels

Channel subscriptions from Prime Video are paid subscriptions to third-party premium networks and other streaming entertainment channels. Eligible Prime members have the option to purchase these subscriptions directly through Prime Video.

Most channels start with a free trial. Regular subscription periods begin automatically at the conclusion of the trial. All of the movies and TV programming included with the subscription are available to watch on-demand, on compatible Prime Video devices.

Many third-party channels also feature live streaming, which provides the option to watch programming on supported devices at the same time as broadcast.

Prime Video Direct

Prime Video Direct is our self-publishing platform that helps content creators and visual storytellers reach millions of Amazon customers across hundreds of devices with similar distribution options and delivery quality available to major motion picture and television studios.

For each title, content partners can choose to earn royalties based on hours streamed by Prime customers and a revenue share for rentals or purchases. Content partners can make titles available in territories around the globe on all supported devices—Fire TV, phones, tablets, game consoles, Smart TVs—and on the web.

As a self-service platform, everything needed to deliver content to Prime Video is included on the Prime Video Direct website.
