In this update, you’ll find everything you need tfo stay current with Prime Video’s latest launches and upcoming changes. Each section helps you take action, plan ahead, and deliver content without delays.
Launched: Titles Tab Export
The Titles tab in Slate Catalog Manager will support bulk CSV exports of your catalog titles - up to 600,000 rows. You can export using the default column layout or using a saved column layout from your table preferences via the Column Picker feature - if you have a saved layout, two export options will appear in the Export dropdown so you can choose between the full default column set or only the columns you need. If your filtered result set exceeds maximum rows, you will receive a warning to reduce the scope before exporting.
Launched: Live on Site Status Update
The “Live on site” column support guide on the Avails tab has been updated with expanded status definitions and new filtering guidance. The “Not live” status now includes specific reasons why an offer isn’t live — failed publishing requirements, pending Amazon internal review, out of availability window, or taken down status — so you can quickly identify what action may be needed. A new Filtering section provides two recommended approaches: a broadest view filter to surface all offers without a confirmed live status (returns both “Not Live” and “Status Unavailable”), or a strictly-not-live filter to focus only on items that may need action (returns only “Not Live” offers).
Launched: Preferred Sign Language Vendors
Prime Video has extended the Preferred Accessibility Vendor (PAV) Program to include Sign Language asset creation.
If you are creating or planning to create sign language assets for titles delivered to Prime Video, we now have a list of Preferred Sign Language Vendors available. These vendors have been evaluated and approved against Prime Video’s quality, security, and technical standards.
What this means for you:
If your studio is producing sign language content, we recommend using vendors from our Preferred Sign Language Vendor list to ensure assets meet our quality bar.
Using preferred vendors ensures your sign language assets are delivery-ready and meet Prime Video specifications from day one.
Launched: Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos Delivery Spec Now Available on Slate
Our official Dolby Vision and Atmos delivery spec is now published on Slate, giving full visibility into Prime Video’s supported delivery requirements for Dolby Vision and Atmos content. Prime Video customers are already streaming hundreds of millions of Dolby sessions quarterly, and we’re actively expanding with new testing partners to bring more of this premium content to our shared audience. We anticipate scaled onboarding beginning later in Q3. This spec enables your team to evaluate pipeline readiness now so you’re positioned to deliver Dolby content to Prime Video in parity with your D2C offerings. If you have Dolby Vision or Atmos content in your catalog, we encourage you to reach out to your Prime Video contact to begin testing and the certification process.
Updates to: VOD Movie Bundles Design Guidelines
On June 19th, the SLATE artwork specifications page was updated with revised movie bundle requirements, aligned to design portal standards. This content was removed from the season passes, season offers, and content bundles page. These updates ensure bundle artwork displays in a single, consistent format across carousels—creating a cleaner customer experience. Bundles increase title visibility and simplify purchase decisions for franchise content.
Updates to: Language-Specific Localization and Technical Style Guides
In this new round of updates to the Localization and Technical Style Guides, 25 new languages were added to support expansion of theatrical localization: Albanian, Armenian, Azeri, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Burmese, Cantonese, Croatian, Estonian, Georgian, Icelandic, Kazakh, Khmer, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Mongolian, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Taiwanese Mandarin, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
Main title translation guidelines are included for all new languages, addressing market preferences, IP treatment, and legal restrictions that impact localization.
A separate update addresses the localization of main titles when a creator’s name must appear in the title pedigree (e.g., Tyler Perry, Tom Clancy). This has been implemented across all languages.
Additional updates to specific languages have also been implemented (e.g., Japanese), highlighted in yellow within the documents for ease of reference.
Partners are strongly encouraged to review the guides relevant to their deliveries. The latest Localization and Technical Style Guides can be downloaded here.
Updates to: Global TVOD Requirements — LATAM6, SEA5 & MENA2 Expansion
Starting Friday, July 10, partners can begin availing TVOD content in 13 new territories: LATAM6 (Argentina, Peru, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Dominican Republic), SEA5 (Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand), and MENA2 (Saudi Arabia, UAE), ahead of official launch on September 15.
Please review the TVOD Global Requirements Slate page for territory-specific Minimum Language Requirements (MLR) to ensure your deliveries are compliant.
Coming Soon: Due Date Enhancement
Due dates in the Assets Tab are now relative to the active or upcoming availability window, called Window Start Date. Previously, due dates were based on the Earliest Start Date, which meant renewed avails could show past-due dates that didn’t align with actual delivery deadlines. The new due date will reflect the Window Start Date offset from the applicable delivery SLA (e.g., 14 days for Library, 24 hours for SWP). This allows you to plan deliveries against the correct target window.
- Launched (Phase 1) Due Date Calculation: The Due Date column in the Assets Tab now calculates from the current Window Start Date instead of the Earliest Start Date. If an avail was renewed, the Due Date reflects the current/active window across windows. If the current window is in the past, the date displays until the window expires. Note: Historical offers prior to 6/9/2026 are not backfilled.
- Coming Soon (Phase 2): Window Start Date & Latest End Date Columns: Two new columns will appear in the Assets Tab: Window Start Date and Latest End Date, giving partners direct visibility into the active availability window. The existing Earliest Start Date column remains unchanged for historical reference. Both new columns will be available in CSV exports and API responses.
Coming Soon: Customer Contact Quality Errors in Redelivery Widget
A new “Customer Contact” row will appear in the Redelivery widget in the Catalog Manager Mini Dashboard, giving you immediate access to customer-reported quality errors alongside your existing redelivery priorities (Fix Now, Fix This Week, All Redelivery Defects).
How to view Customer Contacts today: You can already find these customer-reported quality errors using the Advanced Filter in the Assets tab:
- Navigate to the Redelivery Widget → Select View All
- Apply Advanced Filter: Rule Source → Is → Customer Contact
Coming Soon: Aspera on Cloud Migration
On July 31st, Prime Video will be migrating from the current implementation of Aspera (Aspera Shares) to Aspera on Cloud. All users who will need access to Aspera on Cloud as a primary delivery mechanism must submit their information for Prime Video to create new credentials.
For those that have missed the July 31st deadline, please visit the IBM Aspera Bulk Delivery Slate Support guide for how to request set up. Once new credentials are set up, Prime Video will inform you via email and provide detailed self-service instructions regarding migration which can also be found on the Aspera on Cloud Migration support guide.
