This section explains the column picker function in Catalog Manager, currently available as part of the Titles, Avails, and Assets tabs. The column picker lets you customize the information you see on a tab by creating one or more new column layouts. You can select or hide visible columns, reorder columns, and save your preferences for future use. You can use the column picker together with simple search, filters, and exports to manage your own workflows.
To select a column layout, click the Column layout gear icon to the right of the search bar.
Create a new column layout
- Click the Column layout gear icon to the right of the search bar, and then click the Add layout button that appears below the available column options.
- Enter a name for your layout in the Layout name text box.
- Choose the columns you want to appear in your new layout. You can choose Select all columns to display them all, or select individual columns with the check boxes under Hidden columns.
As columns are selected, they move from the Hidden columns list to Visible columns. - To rearrange the column order, use the drag and drop bars on the right side of the column picker box, to drag and drop columns in your preferred order.
Click Save and close at the bottom of the dialog box to save your new column configuration.
Your UI view will load automatically.Note: You must enter a Layout name in step 2 to save your new custom column preferences.
Change a custom column layout
You can change, edit, or delete a custom column layout at any time.
- Click the Column layout gear icon to the right of the search bar.
All available column layouts are displayed, including any custom layouts you’ve saved. You can toggle between layouts, edit or delete an existing layout, or create a new one.
