Catalog Manager: Simple and advanced searches

Simple search

Quickly search for titles, assets, or avails based on a single attribute using the search bar.

Based on the text you enter, a dropdown list appears with suggested search criteria.

Press Enter without selecting any of the suggested entries in the dropdown list to apply your search across all suggested criteria.

Click a suggested dropdown list entry to apply a search on that criteria.

Simple searches are limited to the following attributes:

  • Title
  • Series Name
  • Season Name
  • SKU
  • GTI
    Note: GTIs always have a prefix of amzn1.dv.gti.
  • ASIN
    Note: ASINs always contain only alphanumeric characters. Letters are in all caps.
  • Delivery accounts (on the Assets tab)

Advanced search

To perform an advanced search/filter, click the filter icon to the right of the search bar. This icon appears in the Titles, Avails, and Assets tabs.

Click the icon to open the Advanced Filter dialog box. Here, you can build more advanced search queries.

Advanced search filter criteria

In the Advanced Filter dialog box, you can add or delete filter criteria.

  1. Click the Select filter criteria dropdown for a complete list of filter attributes.

  2. Select a filter criteria, and then select the type of query to perform.
    The list varies based on the selected filter criteria.

  3. Finally, select or enter your search criteria values.
    The way in which you enter search criteria values varies based on the selected filter criteria:

    Fixed dropdown. A dropdown list with a list of values.

    Tip: Type in the dropdown list box to filter by values that contain the entered characters. This is useful when the dropdown list contains a large list of values, such as Territory.

    Free text entry. The text box accepts up to 1,000 alphanumeric characters.

    Numerical range. The text box only accepts accepts numerical values. Enter a value in the from and to boxes, respectively, to include all values that exist between your inputs. For example, a from value of 1 and a to value of 4 includes the values 2 and 3.

Add and apply filter criteria

To add filter criteria to your search results:

  1. Click one of the options highlighted in the following screenshot: Add AND filter, Add OR filter, Add nested group AND filter, or Add nested group OR filter.

  2. If you select Add AND filter or Add OR filter, you can change the AND/OR filter logic using the toggle shown in the following screenshot.

  3. To apply your selected filter criteria, click Apply.

Delete filter criteria

Delete your applied filters in one of the following ways:

  • Click the red trash can icon in the Advanced Filter dialog box. This deletes a single filter criteria.
  • Click Clear Filters in the Advanced Filter dialog box. This deletes all filter criteria.
  • Click the X button on the filter tag. This deletes a single filter criteria.

Close advanced filters

Close the Advanced Filter dialog box by clicking eitehr the Cancel button or the X button in the top-right corner of the dialog box.

Note: Closing the dialog box without clicking Apply will lose any changes you’ve made.

Apply date filters

This filter has two sub tabs.

The Absolute tab filters for titles with an exact avail date or date range.

For example, the following screenshot shows all titles with avail start dates that are between 11/14/2023 and 12/15/2023.

The Relative tab filters for titles using a dynamic date range relative to today (such as all titles with avail end dates that range from today to seven days ahead). This sub tab includes presets that auto-populate the dropdown calendars when they are selected.

Export filter results

On the Avails, Deliveries, and Assets tabs, once you have your filter results, you can export all the contents in your view. Click the Export dropdown to the right of the Actions button. See Export query results for more details.
