Coming Soon: Audio Loudness Compliance & Upcoming Certification Requests
Beginning July 1, 2026, Prime Video will introduce new audio loudness compliance measures in response to California Senate Bill 576, which extends commercial loudness requirements to streaming services. As part of this effort, Prime Video will be reaching out to content providers and ad network partners to obtain written certifications confirming ATSC A/85 compliance.
Here’s what this means for you:
- Certification requests incoming: Starting in late June, your Prime Video partner contact will reach out requesting written confirmation that your delivered content and/or ads meet ATSC A/85 loudness standards. Email confirmations are acceptable if formal certificates are unavailable.
- Quarterly spot checks: Prime Video will conduct quarterly validation checks on partner-delivered content to verify compliance.
- No immediate delivery changes required: Your existing delivery workflows remain the same — this is a documentation and certification exercise, not a re-delivery requirement.
Please watch for outreach from your Prime Video partner contact in the coming weeks. If you have questions, use the Contact Us form on Slate.

Launched: Linear Programming on Slate Analytics
A new program-level analytics experience for Prime Video Channel partners with active linear stations is now available in Linear Programming on Slate Analytics. Use these insights to optimize your scheduling, inform content acquisition decisions, and identify top-performing programs for targeted marketing. Data is delivered with over 95% accuracy and refreshed within 24 hours of a stream occurring. Access the Linear Dashboard today via Insights → Analytics in Slate.
Coming Soon: Aspera on Cloud Migration
By July 30, 2026, Prime Video is migrating from the current implementation of Aspera (Aspera Shares) to Aspera on Cloud. All users who will need access to Aspera on Cloud as a primary delivery mechanism must submit their information for Prime Video to create new credentials via the Aspera on Cloud form. To ensure no disruptions to deliveries post-July and to allow for internal migration workflows to be executed by the deprecation date, please complete migration by July 10, 2026.
Once new credentials are set up, Prime Video will inform users via email and provide detailed self-service instructions regarding self-service set up which can also be found on the Bulk Delivery via IBM Aspera Support Guide.
Launched: Episodic Artwork and 4K Artwork
As of April 24, 2026, 16:9 episodic artwork (spoiler-free stills) is required for all Prime Video content, with the steady state compliance deadline of June 1, 2026 (non-compliance won’t block publishing). Gating (publishing blocker) for this asset is planned for March 2027.
4K: Artwork Resolution specs have also been added to Artwork Specifications shifting 4k (3840px x 2160px) resolution for all applicable assets from “preferred resolution” to “required resolution” (non-compliance won’t block publishing).
Launched: Avails Quick View
The Avails Quick View feature launched in June 2026,consolidating fragmented avail information into a unified partner experience and bringing the Avails tab to parity with the Assets tab. You can now click any avail row to open a quick view panel showing publish-readiness status, publishing requirements and recommendations (with expandable rule details), title details and parent identifiers, all associated Deal IDs, ASINs and title identifiers, avail windows with UTC and local time zone toggle, and more.
Coming Soon: Due Date Enhancement
Due dates in the Assets Tab will soon shift from the Earliest Start Date to the Current Window Start Date. This means due dates will always reflect the active or upcoming window-so if an avail is renewed, you will see a due date tied to the new window rather than one that has already passed. In the meantime, always search by SKU or Title in the Avails/Assets tabs to confirm launch readiness.
PV Roadshow Tokyo 2026
Over 120 attendees from content providers across the Asia-Pacific region met at Prime Video Roadshow: Tokyo 2026 on June 9. This year more than doubled attendance and engagement over 2025. We offered an entirely new track in English in addition to Japanese, so attendees could choose from multiple events including our 2 main sessions on our roadmap, 12 Voice of Partner Focus Groups, and our combined Social Hour. On average, attendees joined 4.94 events. Our next roadshow will be in Amsterdam during IBC conference in September.
Launched: Audio Description Through Title Hub Now Available
Prime Video now supports Audio Description (AD) uploads directly through Title Hub. You can submit AD audio tracks in any supported language alongside your content, as long as dialog audio in the same language is also available. Simply drag and drop your AD file, select the audio locale, and submit. Your file will go through standard encoding and quality review before publishing to customers. This gives you a direct path to make your titles accessible to blind and low-vision viewers across all Prime Video territories, while meeting accessibility regulations where applicable (e.g., India, UK, Canada).
