Asset Quick View

Last updated 2025-07-07

The Asset Quick View is a review tool in Slate designed to improve transparency and increase asset coverage and compliance on Prime Video. Asset Quick View allows partners to preview Amazon-generated artwork details and take action directly within the Assets tab.

While every asset type will have a quick view experience, the Artwork asset type will offer an enhanced experience that includes an image preview. Other asset types will launch with a lightweight version of quick view, and primarily surface existing data from the Assets tab in a more digestible format. Additional enhancements for these asset types will follow post-launch.

Asset Quick View is designed to:

  • Improve visibility into Prime Video-contributed and partner-submitted assets
  • Provide a simpler, more actionable way for partners to assess and manage their assets
  • Enable easy overrides or adoption of Prime Video-generated content
  • Improve compliance and engagement by enhancing asset quality

Use Asset Quick View

Asset Quick View is available on the Assets tab. (You need permissions to Catalog Manager to view the Assets tab. For more information, see User access and permissions.)

  1. Open the Assets tab in any of 3 ways:
    1. In the Key tools section, click Catalog and then click Assets.
      OR
    2. At the top of the window, in the Prime Video Slate navigation bar, click Catalog and then choose Assets.
      OR
    3. Click the Assets tab link: https://slate.amazon.com/catalog/fulfillment
  2. Click any asset row to open the Asset Quick View.
More information about the specific asset appears in a preview panel on the right side of the screen.

Key features

  1. Header: The top of the quick view clearly displays the Asset Type (such as Artwork, Subtitles, or Mezz files) so you know what kind of asset you’re reviewing.
  2. Asset preview (artwork only): For artwork assets, you’ll see a visual preview of the image so you can quickly assess its content and quality.
  3. Flashcards: In the center of the quick view, flashcards present high-level, at-a-glance information about the asset—such as a Provided by Prime Video tag and other key metadata.
  4. Asset details: Below the flashcards, you’ll find expandable rows of detailed metadata—like delivery source, submission history, format specs, and more—tailored to the selected asset type.

Tip: On the Assets tab, filter the Delivery Account column by “Prime Video” to see a list of assets that have been provided by Prime Video. You can click any row to open up the quick view for more details, and decide whether to keep the Prime Video-provided asset or replace it.
