How do I determine whether my title has been published?

To determine the publishing status of your title(s), go to the Avails tab. Within this tab, refer to these three columns:

  • Publish Ready Status
  • Publishing Requirements
  • Amazon Internal Reviews
Avails tab, showing the publish-ready status, publishing requirements, and Amazon internal review status

What is Publish Ready Status?

A comprehensive status that tells you whether your title has been published. This column shows one of the following values:

  • Ready: Indicates that all of your required delivery obligations have been fulfilled AND Amazon has completed its required internal processes. This value is accompanied by a green check mark icon, or a yellow exclamation point icon if the Amazon internal review is not yet complete.
  • Not Ready: Indicates that at least one of your required delivery obligations have not yet been fulfilled AND/OR Amazon has not yet completed its required internal processes. This value is accompanied by a red exclamation mark icon.

What are Publishing Requirements?

A granular status that tells you the number of publishing requirements you’ve completed out of the total number of publishing requirements. This column’s values are represented as a ratio.

Click the icon next to the status to open a Publishing Requirements popover with a detailed breakdown of those requirements and view which ones still need approval if the Publish Ready Status is set to Not Ready.

At the bottom of the Publishing Requirements popover is a View Details button. In this view you can find more actionable details on what failed for each requirement.

What is the Amazon internal review?

A granular status that tells you whether Amazon has completed its required internal processes for a given title. This column will read one of the following two values:

  • Complete: Indicates that Amazon has completed its required internal processes. This value is accompanied by a green check mark.
  • Incomplete: Indicates that Amazon has not yet completed its required internal processes. This value is accompanied by a red exclamation mark.

How do I search for all avails that are launching in a given time frame that have a problem?

Within the Avails tab, you can set advanced search filters to find the avails that are launching in a given time, and set a filter for a specific publishing requirement.

  1. Click the filters icon next to the simple search bar to open a dialog box with the filter configuration options. In the first dropdown, choose Publishing Requirement.

How do I see what is wrong with a title?

In the Titles tab is a Title Submission State column. This refers to a title’s current status within the browser-based title creation flow. Possible values are Draft, Ready, In review, and Error. This column does not include offer publishing or delivery-level statutes, or titles submitted through bulk delivery.

If there is an error, the Title Submission State column will show the value Error, as in the following screenshot.

For any title that was added via Bulk Upload, this column shows a View Status link instead. Click it to open a filtered view for this title in the Avails tab. You can view errors there.

  • Option 1: Type in the simple search bar to search by series name or season name.

What are business aliases and how do I filter for titles unique to a business alias(es)?

Business aliases are the unique vendor ID that defines which business your account has access to. Some partners may have more than one business alias.
