The “Promotional Assets” section in Slate gives partners one place to view all their Clips and track their marketing performance across titles. This feature allows you to preview your Clips with an enhanced visual experience, check engagement metrics including views, likes, and Watchlist additions, and remove individual Clips at your discretion — all from a single, streamlined interface.

Accessing Promotional Assets
To get started, make sure you are signed into Slate. You can access “Promotional assets” in two ways:
- From the navigation bar: On the Slate home page, click the Marketing dropdown and select Promotional assets
- From the Slate home page: In the Key tools section, click Promotional assets
Exploring the Landing Page
The “Promotional assets” landing page prominently displays top-performing Clips and their latest performance metrics.
- The performance dataset contains data for how viewers engage with your Clips on Prime Video. To learn more about each performance metric, click “About this dataset.”
- At the top of the landing page, you’ll see the number of your most recently launched Clips.
- At the bottom of the page, you’ll find some Frequently Asked Questions.
- You can also look at your Clips in a more detailed table view, and filter the table to explore different information.
Working with the Clips Table View
Opening the Table View
To open the Clips tableview, select Clips from the left sidebar menu. The links in the different sections of the landing page will also open the table view.
The table view shows a comprehensive list of Clips, with the details of their parent title information,current status, launch dates, territories, and business name.
Sidebar Navigation
The left sidebar menu allows you to easily view all Clips at once, your top performing Clips, or those that were recently launched.
Filtering and Sorting
- Additional filtering options are available under “Quick filters,” where you can filter by status, territory, and date range of the Clips.
- You can also access advanced filtering options by clicking “Advanced filters,” or by clicking one of the action buttons located in a column header.
Customizing Your View
- The Clip column is fixed, but you can pin other columns to the left or right, or hide them, using the action button.
- To adjust column width, place your cursor on the boundary of the column header you want to change until it becomes a resize cursor. Then click and drag it to the desired width.
- Manage your table settings with the gear icon from the left side bar menu:
- Select the density you prefer for each row: Compact, Standard, or Comfortable
- Select Columns to personalize your view by showing or hiding specific information
Reviewing Individual Clips with Quick View
Click any row to open the quick view. You can also click the action button at the end of any row to open a menu and select “Quick view.”
The quick view panel displays:
- Full preview of the Clip
- Key details below the Clip, such as current status, any key dates, and delivery source
- Expandable detail rows with important information for each Clip
Note: If a Clip is not live or has been removed, you cannot preview it at this time.
Tip: Click “Expand All” to view all additional details at once.
Understanding Expandable Rows
- Performance: Provides valuable insights into a Clip’s viewer engagement, including the number of views, likes, and Watchlist additions
- Parent: Shows details of the parent title this Clip links to in the Prime Video app
- Availability: Displays the territories where the content can be viewed
Monitoring Performance Metrics
The Performance metrics provide valuable insights into a Clip’s viewer engagement. You can find out how customers are engaging with your Clip, including the number of views, likes, and Watchlist additions.

Removing a Clip
You can choose to remove a Clip with the Remove Clip button at the bottom right of the quick view pane.
- Click Remove Clip
- Select a reason from the dropdown, or provide your own
- Confirm the removal
Important: Once removed, the Clip will no longer appear to customers after a brief processing period. This actioncan’tbe undone. Once you remove a Clip, it will no longer be available for you to preview.
