Get started
- Sign in to your Prime Video Slate account.
- In Tax Information, complete any required tax interviews.
If you are in the EU, please also do the following:
- In Billing Preferences, select your billing preferences.
- In Invoices and payments, on the Pending tab, review and approve any pending invoices.
- In Invoices and payments, on the Confirmed tab, review invoices that have been submitted for payment processing.
View invoices
The Invoices and payments view in Slate provides invoice and payment information, which includes the following:
- Details on what will be submitted to your bank account. This includes payment amount, exchange rates, invoice amounts, and tax withholding.
- Insight into how much you’ve earned, but for which you haven’t yet received payment.
- Payment issues.
To see an invoice report in Slate:
- Click the Financial dropdown menu and select Invoices and payments.
OR
On the Slate home page, click Invoices and payments.
You can find additional reporting details in the Earnings and Payments tabs, or in those sections of the Dashboard.
Vendor-initiated billing
Amazon Digital Video Services is updating the invoice submission process for vendors in some regions to improve the customer experience.
Invoices will no longer be accepted if they are submitted by email; they must be submitted through Prime Video Direct or Video Central. You must also select your billing preference to determine your payment method.
Note: For SVOD fixed fee agreements, Prime Video operates an automated payment system. You do not need to manually submit invoices to initiate payment. For more information, see SVOD payments process.
To submit an invoice, do the following:
- Sign in to your Prime Video Slate account.
- Go to the Invoices and payments page.
- On the Royalties tab, click Create Invoice.
- Complete the form and confirm the details on the Amazon version of your invoice.
- Attach your IRP-approved invoice when prompted.
- Attach a PDF copy of your official invoice. Make sure to attach your IRP-approved QR code or your invoice won’t be accepted.
- Submit your invoice.
It takes up to 48 hours to review your invoice and to provide you with confirmation and next steps.
Earnings
- In Slate, click the Financial dropdown menu and select Invoices and payments.
- On the Invoices and payments page, go to the Earnings tab to view amounts paid for previous earning periods of 30 days.
Information about invoice status, accrued earnings submitted for payment, exchange rate, amount of tax withholding, and net earnings is also available.
Payments
- In Slate, click the Financial dropdown menu and select Invoices and payments.
- On the Invoices and payments page, go to the Payments tab to get details like payment status, payment date, payment amount, exchange rate, and your final payment amount after currency conversion.
Use the graph to see monthly payment amounts and to track payment status for a specific currency. To view your earnings in other permissible currencies for your payment method, select the currency type (for example, EUR) from the Payment Currency dropdown list.
Check invoice or payment status
- To see the status of an invoice, go to the Earnings tab and see the Invoice status column. Next to an invoice, the status will be Paid or Failed.
- To see the status of a payment, go to the Payments tab, and see the Payment status column. Next to a payment, the status will be Paid or Failed.
Failed payments
Payments commonly fail because of incorrect bank information. To fix this:
- On the Invoices and payments page, click Back to account.
- Verify or update your bank information.
After the information is corrected, failed payments are reprocessed with new payments during the next payment cycle. If you have more questions, please click the Support dropdown, select Contact Support, and fill out the Contact Us page for your issue.
Match payments to invoices
- In Slate, click the Financial dropdown menu and select Invoices and payments.
- On the Invoices and payments page, go to the Payments tab.
- In the View invoices column, click the View Invoices link for the payment.
The Earnings tab opens, showing invoices that were sent for payment.
