Supply Chain Updates, September 2025

Revised localization guidelines, movie bundles, and more Last updated 2025-09-19

Hello, valued partners! This page serves as a notification to inform you of recent updates.

Language and Technical Style Guides updated

Prime Video offers language-specific style guides for localization, to ensure consistency across all content types and regions. All the language style guides are available as PDFs, and are saved together in a single .zip file.

In August, we updated 9 of the 38 available guides: Castilian Spanish (ES), Danish (DK), Dutch (NL), French (FR), German (DE), Latin American Spanish (419), Swedish (SE), and Brazilian Portuguese (BR). Please download the complete set of guidelines at the following link, to ensure you’re using the latest ones: Download Prime Video Localization and Technical Style Guides. Not all guides have changed; changes to the 9 specified files are highlighted in yellow. For more information, see Languages, localization, and genres.

Partners can now begin availing movie collections

A movie collection is a purchasable bundle of related movie titles (for example, every James Bond movie ever). Customers will be able to purchase all of the movies in the collection at a discounted price, or complete their collection if they already own some of the bundled titles. Partners can begin setting up movie collection avails now, and collections will launch for customer purchase in October. For complete instructions about how to deliver movie collection bundles, see Season passes, season offers, and content bundles.

New “Live on site” column is now on the Avails tab

Live on site provides real-time status to indicate whether your avails for a title are available to Prime Video customers across one or more supported devices. You can use this column to build searches and custom views so that you know exactly when an action is required to make your content live. For complete details, see “Live on site” status column.

More updates to content ratings and descriptors for Q3 2025

We’ve made a few more tweaks to the guidelines for content ratings and content descriptors in the downloadable Excel workbook since last month. We apologize for any inconvenience!

For complete details on all the MEC ratings metadata you must provide to be compliant, see Ratings, and please download the latest workbook from the following link.

Make sure you’re referring to the current Digital Video License Agreement

We wanted to make sure that all partners are using the most recent, up-to-date version of the Digital License Agreement for self-publishing partners in the Slate support guide. Please check your bookmarks to make sure you’re not pointing to the previous version, in the old Video Central documentation; those documents are no longer maintained. The correct, current version is Self-Publishing Partner Digital License Agreement—the agreement itself was last revised December 1, 2023, as noted at the top of the page.

(Important: The “Last updated YYYY-MM-DD” date tag in the blue title banner across every page in the Slate support guide indicates when the page itself was published or republished. It does not reflect the age of specific content within the page.)
