Hello, valued partners! This page serves as a notification to inform you of recent updates.
Coming soon: 2:3 poster art will be mandatory for mobile discoveryin August 2025
As you know, Prime Video introduced 2:3 poster art in October 2024, and made it a required asset type for title deliveries in January 2025. The mobile aspect ratio is critical to the customer experience on mobile devices, so we’re letting you know about the latest updates to our 2:3 poster art requirements and implementations.
Starting in August 2025, all titles must have 2:3 aspect ratio poster artwork to be included in Prime Video’s discovery features on mobile. Titles without compliant 2:3 poster artwork will be filtered out from carousels, recommendations, and browsing sections. (Title pages will still be accessible through search, and customers can still watch, purchase and rent all published content on mobile.) Titles will only be removed from discovery on mobile; this will not affect the Prime Video discovery experience on other devices.
To ensure your content remains discoverable, please review your titles and update any non-compliant artwork. For detailed specifications on poster artwork requirements, see Artwork specifications.
Important: A more detailed schedule of milestones will be sent by email, and referenced in future Supply Chain updates. Please stay tuned as we confirm the dates when we’ll begin enforcing 2:3 artwork requirements for publishing, and blocking those titles that do not have compliant artwork.
Asset Quick View officially launched
