What Is Asset Sharing?
Asset sharing allows one partner account (the lender) to share its delivered playable assets with another partner account (the borrower). The borrower does not need to deliver their own playable assets. They use the lender’s video, audio, and subtitle assets instead.
- When the lender updates their assets, the borrower’s assets update automatically.
- This applies whether the accounts belong to the same partner or different partners.
- Both PVD and managed accounts can participate as lender or borrower, in any combination.
- Asset sharing replaces the previous split licensing system.
