Prime Video APIs

Last updated 2026-01-29
At Prime Video, we offer partners two comprehensive API suites designed to streamline content management and provide valuable business insights. These suites enable you to automate workflows, centralize catalog data, and gain deeper insights into your content’s performance.

Content API Suite

The Content API suite allows content partners and vendors to send and retrieve updates across your content submissions. This suite is essential for partners who want to rely on automation and integration with their content supply chains to send us updates and receive real-time information about the service status of their content at Prime Video.

API

Key capabilities

Avails API

• Create, Read, Update, Delete and Validate content rights (avails)

• Supports all functionality needed to manage your avails

• Can be used interchangeably with EMA file delivery and Title Hub

• Automate the avails submission process to reduce manual effort

Offer Status API

• Monitor avails offer delivery status via API retrieval

• Retrieve status updates on offers (content rights) in real-time

Asset Status API

• Monitor asset delivery status via API retrieval

• Track which assets have been successfully delivered

• Identify missing or pending assets requiring action

Analytics API Suite

The Analytics API Suite provides eligible content partners with granular content and subscription performance data, enabling you to integrate Prime Video data with your own systems and gain deeper insights into content performance. Our Analytics end points are read-only, allowing you to retrieve data but not submit updates.

Successfully implementing these API endpoints requires strong technical and analytics capabilities. If you believe this solution aligns with your needs, please consult your Prime Video contact. For aggregated performance data and at-a-glance insights, we recommend leveraging Analytics Dashboards and Reports in Slate.
