Prime Video acquires movies and TV shows from content providers who enlist third-party service providers to deliver the title assets to Prime Video on their behalf.
Rate card conditions
In situations where Amazon is directly responsible for payments to a service provider for asset delivery, Amazon has set non-negotiable fulfillment rate cards with the following conditions:
- Rates are capped at the highest level Prime Video will pay for fulfillment services within the region where content is acquired.
- Amazon reserves the right to negotiate discounts on a case-by-case basis, taking into account factors such as volume.
- Adherence to the rate cards is not a requirement for participation in the Preferred Vendor Services (PVS) program, nor do the rate cards apply only to Preferred Vendors.
- Rate cards only apply when Amazon is directly responsible for payment. They do not apply to rates negotiated between any third-party content provider and a fulfillment vendor.
