We run continual reviews and audits to identify assets that don’t comply with our quality requirements, and flag each defect with a corresponding code and severity that require your attention for correction and redelivery.
The following sections contain information on both defect severity levels and defect codes and requirements to help you resolve escalations and expedite redelivery.
Defect severity levels
The severity of a defect corresponds to how it impacts the customer or viewing experience. Critical defects are the most serious, and Prime Video blocks partners from publishing an asset with a critical defect. The underlying asset must be corrected and redelivered.
The following table explains the possible severity ratings for defects, and indicates how Prime Video and partners are expected to respond to them.
