The Prime Video Slate AI Assistant is a support bot that helps you navigate the Slate portal and streamlines your content management processes. It draws its guidance from the official Slate support documentation. AI Assistant can help you track title upload status, manage team member access, set up payment information, locate specific portal features, and more.

Important: AI Assistant is currently available only in English. Also, it cannot access individual account details or process transactions yet. However, we’ll continue to expand its capabilities regularly over time. For issues that require direct account access, you can always contact support at slate.amazon.com/contact-us.

AI Assistant navigation

AI Assistant is available from any page within Slate.

To access AI Assistant

  1. Click the chat icon next to the language picker in the Slate navigation bar.

  2. To hide AI Assistant after use, click the collapse button in the top right corner of the AI Assistant UI.
    This hides the AI Assistant overlay on the Slate screen, but retains your conversation in it.

To ask a question
You can ask one of the preconfigured questions provided in the AI Assistant UI, or enter a question of your own.

For preconfigured questions:

  1. Click one of the preconfigured questions in the AI Assistant UI.

For new questions:

  1. Type your question into the Ask a question text box.
  2. Press Enter.
    OR
    Click the Submit button.

To work with AI Assistant answers

Successful AI Assistant responses include step-by-step instructions and links to related support pages. Each response includes a thumbs up/thumbs down ratings option. Please use these ratings to help us improve AI Assistant’s performance. You can also provide detailed feedback about AI Assistant by clicking Submit Feedback at the top of the AI Assistant screen.

If AI Assistant can’t answer your question, it will direct you to the Contact Us workflow for customer support assistance.

Manage conversations with AI Assistant

Conversations with AI Assistant are limited to 20 exchanges before you must refresh. Click the Refresh button at the top of the screen to clear your chat history and start again. Conversations automatically refresh after 24 hours.

Note: AI Assistant itself isn’t officially refreshed until you submit a new question. You can recover your chat history from an accidental refresh by refreshing the whole web page in your browser instead.

Limitations

  • AI Assistant currently supports only English.
  • While AI Assistant can’t view your specific Slate account information, it can guide you to access and manage this information yourself. For example, AI Assistant can’t list which of your titles are missing assets, but it will show you how to find this information.
