All content submitted through Prime Video Slate is made available at the sole discretion of Amazon. Additionally, submission of your content doesn’t guarantee that your title will be published by a given date or selected for licensing.
All content submitted for publication consideration or published to Prime Video (including video assets, cover images, and metadata) must adhere to the following content policy guidelines, which may change over time. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in removal of your content.
Customers are our number one priority and our goal is to ensure all content published to Prime Video continues to meet the same high standards even after it’s published.
Prime Video conducts regular reviews using customer signals and viewing behavior (like completion rate, unique customer streams, and total hours) to determine which titles are resonating with customers. Content that fails to meet our engagement standards may be subject to removal. Other discretionary decisions regarding the content in our catalog may be made at any time.
We understand you invest a lot in your content and we will provide you with visibility in your Dashboard if your title is removed from the catalog. Unless otherwise indicated, removed titles (or titles not selected for licensing) may not be resubmitted or appealed.
Offensive content
All content submitted for publication consideration or published to Prime Video (including video assets, cover images, and metadata) must adhere to the following content policy guidelines, which may change over time. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in removal of your content.
We reserve the right to determine the appropriateness of all content submitted for publication on the service. Illegal and infringing content
We take violations of laws and proprietary rights very seriously. It is your responsibility to ensure that your content doesn’t violate applicable laws or copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights (including with respect to components of your content such as the background music or items displayed within your content). Just because content is freely available does not mean you are free to copy and sell it.

Trademarks
- Content that contains trademarks that you have not obtained the rights to use.
Violations of privacy or defamation

Poor customer experience
We don’t accept content that contain external links, tracking tags, functionality which is unsupported by Prime Video. We look for content that delights and engages our customers, improves our curated catalog, and elevates our service (this assessment varies over time, by country/region, and offer type).
Unsupported content types
Prime Video doesn’t accept user-generated content, or other types of video that aren’t normally considered feature-length movies or TV shows. Additional content categories that are no longer accepted via Prime Video Slate may include (but aren’t limited to) product reviews, product unboxing, compilation videos, news segments, vlogs, health videos, toy play, selfie/YouTube video (Tik Tok/reaction videos), home videos, slideshows, lectures, videogame play, tutorials, listicles (i.e. top 10 videos), and ambient content.
Prime Video conducts regular reviews using customer signals and viewing behavior (like completion rate, unique customer streams, and total hours) to determine which titles are resonating with customers. Content that underperforms or fails to meet our engagement standards may be subject to removal from the service.
We understand you invest a lot in your content and we always provide you with visibility in your Dashboard if your title is removed from the catalog. Unless otherwise indicated, removed titles may not be resubmitted or appealed. All content submitted through Prime Video Slate is made available/licensed at the sole discretion of Amazon.

Country or region-specific restrictions
Some countries in which we distribute content may have more restrictive standards than other countries for what qualifies as “Offensive Content,” or “Illegal and Infringing Content.” This may include limitations on the display of tobacco branding and drug use; content containing offensive, illegal, or infringing depictions may be subject to publication restrictions in certain territories.
We may restrict any title from sale in any country or region where the sale or distribution of that content would violate that country’s or region’s laws, cultural norms, or sensitivities or for any other reason at our discretion.
All publication decisions will be available in your Dashboard.
