Hello, valued partners! This page serves as a notification to inform you of recent updates.
Coming Soon: Self-Service Publishing: An Easier Way to Manage Titles
Previewed with partners at the Prime Video Roadshow in London and Amsterdam (September 12).
We’re making it easier to manage titles and grow your business on Prime Video — one modern experience with the same features, monetization options, and publishing tools for every content provider, regardless of how titles were delivered in the past. Here are the six key areas we’re focused on.
- One unified delivery — By the end of Q1 2027, both managed and self-service partners will share a single delivery experience, with consistent validation across the board. You’ll always know exactly what “ready to publish” looks like, with the same checks applied the same way for everyone — no more guessing whether a title will pass based on how it was delivered.
- Uniform publishing rules —One consistent ruleset for every partner, with updates rolled out to everyone at the same time. When requirements change, you’ll see the same rules as every other provider — no divergence between partner types and no waiting for your path to catch up.
- New publishing tools — A full suite of self-service tools you can mix and match freely to fit your workflow: UI form submission, MovieLabs, Asset Sharing, mRSS feeds, and APIs. Use one, use several, or combine them title by title — there’s no single required path, so you can publish the way that works best for your catalog and team.
- New Title Detail page — Every title’s information, status, and open issues in one view, with links that take you straight to whatever needs fixing. Instead of navigtating multiple tabs to understand where a title stands, you get a single rolled-up view of what’s done, what’s pending, and what’s blocking publish — so you can resolve issues faster.
- Asset Sharing — A New Way to reuse Content - Managing content is about to get much easier. Asset Sharing will allow you to repurpose media files straight into your catalog, giving you clear visibility into what’s been received, what’s pending, and what needs attention — all without leaving Slate. Shared assets will be distinctly labeled so you can quickly tell them apart from your own content, and images and metadata will sync automatically once titles are matched.
- Prime Video University - Launching in October 2026, Prime Video is launching a new self-service learning experience and support guide update branded as Prime Video University. Partners will have access to updated, action-oriented and visual first support guide pages along with videos and self-paced e-learning modules. Prime Video University will seamlessly integrate into our Support Assistant, allowing you to get the answers you need around your self-service education and catalog needs faster.
What stays the same — Nothing about your business changes. Your catalog, commercial agreements, and business relationships are all unaffected. You won’t lose a live title or be forced to change how you work. We’re simply giving you more publishing tools and flexibility, and you can adopt the new capabilities at your own pace.
Coming Soon: Title Status Rollup (Q4 2026)
Today, confirming whether a title is ready to launch requires checking the Titles, Avails, Assets, and Deliveries tabs separately, where each tab reports status differently and one label can describe several things at once: the state of the title, whether its assets are fulfilled, and how urgent the work is. Title Status Rollup answers these questions separately at the title level, so you can see whether a title is live, whether it can publish successfully, what to do next, and by when.
Coming Soon: Due Date Enhancement
Phase 2 - Window Start Date & Latest End Date Columns: Two new columns will appear in the Assets tab: Window Start Date and Latest End Date, giving partners direct visibility into the active availability window. The existing Earliest Start Date column remains unchanged for historical reference. Both new columns will be available in CSV exports and API responses.
PV Roadshow: Virtual 2026
Stay up to date with PV’s vision for customers and the initiatives that support that vision. This October, Prime Video Roadshow will host a virtual version of the most recent roadshow’s main session with a Q&A at the end. This is open to all Slate users and will be in English with caption translation available. Register for the NA/EU-friendly time or the Japan/India-friendly time.
PV Roadshow: London & Amsterdam 2026
PV’s Voice of Partner program hosted two PV Roadshows reaching 150+ attendees across 55+ studios and vendors. Our London event (Sep 9) offered the first ever business and marketing track. Our 4th annual Amsterdam event (Sep 12) offered our standard supply chain track, and it was our largest to date for this IBC-oriented outreach. 18 hands-on VOP Focus Groups leveraged prototypes to capture actionable partner feedback, unlocking a vetted path forward on key products.
Updates to: Aspera on Cloud Migration
At the end of August 2006, Prime Video will be migrated from Aspera Shares to Aspera on Cloud. If you have not migrated and experienced disruption, please follow the resolution steps on the Aspera on Cloud Slate Support Guide and reach out to Contact Us.
Coming Soon: Catalog Homepage (Phase 1 - Q4 2026)
Today, whether you are confirming a title is live, finding what needs fixing, or deciding what to work on next, the answer is spread across four tabs in Slate Catalog Manager. Catalog Homepage adds a single starting surface for your entire catalog. The new feature will arrive in phases; the first release brings catalog health, your highest-priority actions, and the titles you choose to follow into one place and lets you search and ask questions about your catalog instead of locating the right tab, filter, and column. You will also be able to configure which sections appear, so the page matches how your team works. Later phases will add launch schedules, delivery performance metrics, and alerting.
Updates to: Datasets API
Dataset APIs are now available for general audience — any partner interested can be enabled with API access through their CAM, with no intake tickets required. The upcoming roadmap includes self-serve Dashboard Admin (Q3 2026), self-serve Reporting Admin (Q4 2026), bulk configuration import for partners with many regional identifiers (Q4 2026), and dataset expansion to cover SVOD/AVOD and Linear program-level data (Q3–Q4 2026).
